Rodent Proofing Services
Is the sound of scratching or claws skittering on the floorboards above you or in the walls around you keeping you up at night? If so, you’re not alone. Call Mr. Attic right away to assess the situation and perform thorough rodent proofing before the situation gets worse. You may have a potentially hazardous rodent problem on your hands.
Warm confined spaces such as your attic, crawl space, and even the walls of your home provide the perfect nesting areas for animals, including roof rats, squirrels, raccoons, and birds in your attic. This can cause significant damage to your home and insulation if not taken care of by removing rodent carcasses and feces right away. Pests often carry disease, and when these animals die inside your home, it may not be too long until you have other problems on your hands, such as fungi, bacteria, and serious diseases. If you’re hearing unsettling sounds in your attic or walls, or if you’re smelling a foul odor in your home that doesn’t seem to go away, you may have rodent feces or carcasses in your home that will need to be professionally removed.
It’s important for you and your family’s health and safety to know that rodent droppings harbor bacterial organisms that can lead to illness, disease, and parasites. If you think you may have problems with rodent carcasses or feces in your home, call Mr. Attic right away to remove them and keep them out for good.

How it Works
Our team consists of experienced certified attic inspectors. We have been in this business for several years and can help determine if you have a problem with pests in your home. We will perform a full inspection of your home, from rooftop to foundation, to determine the best method of removal while also eliminating any access points for the rodents.
In some cases, insulation removal and replacement are necessary. We will clean any insulation that we can, including vacuuming out the contaminated insulation and droppings throughout the attic space. We will then apply a disinfectant and install new insulation as needed.
Photo Documentation
Be aware that homeowner’s insurance may cover the cost of insulation removal and replacement when damage has occurred. In this case, our technicians will provide you with the documentation necessary to file a claim with your insurance provider.
